The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a tectonic shift in our lives, disrupting health, work, school, plans, and business. Our new webinar series, "Colleague Connection: Best Practices in Unusual Times" was created to bring together our strong community of experts and practitioners to share advice, ideas, and guidance during these unprecedented times.
The Colleague Connection series continues with Part III, as our speakers will share their advice on keeping businesses and bodies healthy. We invite you to bring your own ideas, advice, and any questions you have!
About the Presenters
Kara Ware is a pioneer and leading contributor to the field of functional medicine. She excels at improving patient retention and clinical outcomes, and her coaching skills and deep understanding of the patient experience make her an important asset to any functional medicine practice. Kara's 14-year personal journey began with her son, who has autism, and by addressing the underlying medical and lifestyle factors behind his condition. In 2013, she opened a functional medicine autism recovery clinic, and recorded such tremendous results that Dr. Nathan Morris asked Kara to join his practice, Good Medicine, as his clinical coordinator. Kara has been the PureGenomics® Business Integration Coach since 2016.
Dr. Denise Furness, Ph.D., is passionate about helping practitioners and patients navigate the new and evolving world of nutrigenomics and personalized medicine. She began her career as a research scientist focusing on folate nutrigenomics, methylation, and DNA damage in relation to pregnancy health. Her research has since expanded to vitamin D, inflammatory and metabolic-related genes, and biomarkers. She is a published author and has won numerous awards for her research and conference presentations. In 2012, she founded Your Genes and Nutrition, applying her knowledge to private practice and working alongside some of Australia's most prominent integrative medical doctors.
Dr. Daniel Kalish is the founder of the Kalish Institute, an online training program established in 2006 to build functional medicine practices.
